NEW ALL INDIA RAILWAY HELPLINE NUMBER-138 EXCLUSIVELY INTRODUCED FOR PASSENGER GRIEVANCES

To ensure better public interface through convenient communication, Railways have introduced an exclusive Helpline No. 138 for specific queries regarding various types of passenger amenities, grievances and suggestions. The 3 digit No. 138 is a public interface for queries/complaints exclusively related to medical emergency, cleanliness, food and catering, coach maintenance, linen etc.

          The All India helpline No. 182  for security and the existing number 139 for rail related enquiry such as PNR, accommodation availability, fare enquiry and current train running position, will remain continue to be functional and passengers may continue to contact these old helplines for the same as in the past.
